The Let's Go Get 'Em Tour is coming to the Filene Center at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts on Saturday, July 18, 2026 and it's going to be an historic night of music, featuring three generations of legendary performers!

Troy Andrews, aka Trombone Shorty & his band Orleans Avenue, will kick off the evening. His 2022 release Lifted has been the launching pad for Trombone Shorty to continue to push the boundaries of the jazz-funk genre that he grew up on. This young, 30 something-year-old kid started playing at the age of 4, performing with his father in the band Tornadoes.

Legendary Gospel singer Mavis Staples performs strong at 86 years young. The powerful gospel, blues and soul singer has performed on stage for 7 decades. She will be performing music from her latest release Sad and Beautiful World (2025) - a celebration of her life's work and her recent honor as a Kennedy Center Honoree.

Rounding out this incredible three singer songwriters show is the powerful Americana of husband and wife duo, The War and Treaty who are touring in support of their latest album Plus One.

Prices for tickets start at $78 for this 7:00pm outdoor concert at the Filene Center held at Wolf Trap's sprawling park.

Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue

Performing with Orleans Avenue, Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews brings the funky and incredible live performances of songs like "Something Beautiful" and mind-blowing covers of other songs that he always brings to the stage. Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue showcase their incredible talent on the album Lifted from 2022, and show how they continue to evolve while sticking to the core of New Orleans Brass Band music. As a trombonist and bandleader Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews has been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards for his work on albums such as Backtown, as well as his feature on the album We Are by Jon Batiste which won Album of the Year at the Grammys in 2021. Shorty has also performed at the Grammys on multiple occasions, and recently performed at the White House. 

Mavis Staples

Mavis Staples is known for her gospel, soul and Americana music that spans over 70 years. As lead singer of The Staple Singers, she sang on classics such as "I'll Take You There" and "Let's Do It Again." Her new music is on her 2025 album Sad and Beautiful World. Recently awarded multiple Grammy Awards as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Recording Academy, she was also awarded a Kennedy Center Honor. Staples' membership in the Blues, Rock and Gospel Halls of Fame rounds out her long list of awards. Now 86+, the legendary singer continues to tour and perform her soulful, rootsy, folk and pop-oriented music.

The War and Treaty

The War and Treaty are a soulful performing married duo. They are unique to the world of soul, country, Americana and gospel in that they are a couple and bring such heart and soul to every performance. That is why fans of the show will be swept up in this duo's performances of such classic songs as 'That's How Love Is Made' and 'Blank Page' amongst others. Their most recent release 'Plus One' is evidence of the great work the duo has been producing recently and fans can be assured of a powerful performance that will be full of love, energy and enthusiasm. This award-winning duo have been breaking boundaries in the music industry and have been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist as well as a Grammy Award for Best American Roots Song. They have also collected a number of awards at the Americana Music Awards for Duo/Group of the Year. Michael and Tanya have also been awarded an Emmy Award between them for their work on NFL Network.

Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts Information

Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts is located at 1551 Trap Road, Vienna, VA 22182. The Filene Center offers pavilion seating or general admission lawn seating on a first-come, first-served basis. All performances at the Filene Center hold approximately 7,000 guests and concessions are available throughout the park serving everything from quick, easy-to-eat fare to snacks, soft drinks and cocktails. Parking Information

Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts is free to visit. However, parking is not. Parking is FREE and available on a first come, first served basis. The National Park also offers a shuttle from the McLean Metro (ORANGLINE). If Wolf Trap's parking lot fills up, parking is also available on the streets of downtown Vienna and in nearby parking lots. All parking is within walking distance to the Filene Center.
